Why having access to books is going to help kids succeed in school and graduate

Former teacher here at homeschool mom and we’re going through this book “Game Changer” “book access-for all kids” here on this channel.

📣So let's talk about another fact that I learned

✅✅this infographic literally blew my mind

🤯🤯books make a difference in kids lives.

📍There is a direct correlation between number of books and success in school.

⏰So let's go over it

🎉lower income communities, which is an average of 1 book per every 300 children.

⏰It's this is considered a book desert.

🤯83% will read below grade level and 26% will not even graduate. So that's 1 out of 3 kids.

💪Here's the upper to middle class income communities that have access to books and reading materials

🎉where the average is 13 books per child.

👧 Only 55% will read below grade level and only 9%will not graduate from high school.

⁉️So as a parent the greatest thing you can do for your kids is have access to books

🎉get them on podcasts

🤯 visit your local public libraries 🤣⁉️figure out where the free book drops are you'll thank me later.
